Accessibility and inclusion is central to the ethos of the festival and supporting access to music-making for people with special needs is a vital expression of that philosophy. During the festival, community musician, music therapist and fiddleplayer, Josie Nugent, will lead a series of music-making workshops with children and young people with special needs.

During these informal, fun sessions, participants will work on acquiring skills in rhythm and melody and work together to create a performance.

Tá rochtain agus cuimsiú ag croílár na féile agus is beag bealach is fearr leis an fhealsúnacht sin a léiriú ná trí thacú le bealaí le go mbeadh rochtain ag daoine a bhfuil riachtanais speisialta acu ach a bhfuil dúil sa cheol acu. Le linn na féile, beidh an ceoltóir pobail, an teiripeoir ceoil agus an fidléir Josie Nugent ag déanamh roinnt ceardlanna ceoil le páistí agus le daoine óga a bhfuil riachtanais speisialta acu.
Le linn na seisiún neamhfhoirmeálta taitneamhach seo beidh rannpháirtithe ag obair ar scileanna a fhorbairt i rithim agus i gceolmhaireacht agus oibreoidh siad le chéile le léiriú a chur le chéile.
