Ceol Connected are returning to IMBOLC with The Quiet Tree, an intimate and mesmerising traditional music performance specifically designed for young children (ages 3-7).

This musical adventure tells the story of the creatures of Whistleberry Forest who have discovered a little oak tree growing deep in the woods. However, there are no birds singing, no leaves rustling, and no animals scurrying around its trunk. This delightful show takes children and accompanying adults on a journey through the forest where they sing and dance, and help Ornaith the owl, Sorley the snail, and Faolán the frog bring the little oak tree to life.

Performed by Thomas Johnston (whistles and vocals) and Samantha Harvey (keyboard).

Tá Ceol Connected ag filleadh ar IMBOLC le The Quiet Tree, dlúthléiriú draíochta den cheol traidisiúnta dírithe ar pháistí óga (3-7 mbliana d’aois) go háirithe.

Insíonn an turas ceoil seo scéal faoi na neacha atá ina gcónaí i bhForaois Whistleberry atá i ndiaidh teacht ar chrann beag darach atá ag fás go domhain sa choill. Níl ceol na n-éan nó siosarnach na nduilleog le cluinstin áfach, agus níl ainmhí ar bith ag scinneadh faoina stoc. Tugann an seó galánta seo páistí agus tuismitheoirí araon ar aistear lán ceoil agus lán rincí tríd an fhoraois, áit a chuideoidh siad le hulchabhán darb ainm Ornaith, le seilide darb ainm Sorley agus le frog darb ainm Faolán an crann beag darach a shábháil agus a thabhairt ar ais chuige féin.

Seinnte ag Thomas Johnston (feadóga agus fonnadóireacht) agus Samantha Harvey (méarchlár).
