Over the last decade the Benyounes Quartet has forged a reputation for fresh, vivid performances and interpretations of refinement and integrity. The Quartet's international accolades include prizes at both the 2014 Orlando International String Quartet Competition and the 2012 International Sandor Vegh String Quartet Competition. Their 2019 album 'Innovators' for Champs Hill Records has received 4* reviews from Gramophone, BBC Music and Strad Magazines.

Mark Redmond from Gorey, Wexford has gained vast experience as a performer on the uilleann pipes in a traditional sense but also in wide range of diverse genres. He performs regularly as soloist with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and RTÉ Concert Orchestra. Additionally, he has performed as soloist with Camerata Ireland, The Savannah Philharmonic, Georgia, USA and the Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne, Rennes, France. Currently a PhD. Candidate at TUD, Mark received a First Class Honours Degree from the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in 2011 where he was awarded the Leo Rowsome Gold Medal for Performance. The following year he graduated with an Honours Master’s Degree.
